Among his past roles, he served as an electrical engineer for AECOM in Southern California, Jacobs Engineering in Southern California and Lake Oswego, Oregon, Corbin Consulting Engineers in Beaverton, Oregon, and Reyes Engineering in Portland, Oregon. He has also served as a specialty electrical engineer and project manager for the City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Thompson holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He also holds a master of science degree in mechanical engineering (thermal and fluid science emphasis) from Portland State University.
